Tennisfax Ranking System

In 1988, the TennisFax Ranking System was developed to rank local tennis players. The rankings were based on a player's performance in Central Ohio Grand Prix (COGP) tournaments and were designed to get people involved. In fact, any player with a win in a Grand Prix event earned a ranking. For more information, visit the TennisFax Rankings FAQ.

Tennisfax National Ranking Project

TennisFax plans to expand the rankings to include other areas throughout the United States and Canada. If a player wins a match in a participating event, that player will earn a local, regional and national ranking. For more information, visit the TennisFax National Ranking Project. One win and you're in!

Tennisfax Classic

The dates for the 2003 Tennisfax Classic have been set for June 23-29. The clay court tournament, a COGP tour event sanctioned by the USTA, was founded in 1991. The Tennisfax Classic brings together the area's top amateurs to compete with collegiate players and teaching professionals. Divisions are also offered for junior players. The Tennisfax Network is a network of tennis related web sites that has joined together to help promote each other. Tennisfax Network members get the benefit of advertising on other web sites without the expense.

Participating sites have their logos included in an animated button that appears on the home page of every other site in the network. The button is linked to a page which lists all the participants with links to each of the individual sites.

Whenever a new site is added to the network, the button is updated and replaced on every site in the expanding network.

The Tennisfax Network is free to participating sites.
