ADULT
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ADAM EWING

For winning two titles at the 2005 Tennisfax Classic, Adam Ewing was selected as the Adult Player of the Week.

As the #2 seed in the men's singles draw, Ewing defeated Mark Wasserman 7-6(6) 6-4 in the round of 16, Kevin Johnson 6-1 6-2 in the quarters and #3 Nate Polek 6-3 6-7(5) 6-3 in the semis. In the final, Ewing thwarted the attempt by Shawn Worth to win his third straight Tennisfax title by defeating the #1 seed 6-3 6-4.

In the men's doubles draw, Ewing and partner Colin Leveque lost only 4 games in 2 matches. They beat Paul and Will Ghidotti 6-0 6-2 in the semis and #2 seeds John O'Neil and Kevin Woodley 6-0 6-0 in the final.

JUNIOR
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KELSEY KINNARD

After failing to win a singles title in five previous attempts at the Tennisfax Classic, Kelsey Kinnard ended her frustration in grand style by capturing two titles without dropping a set.

In girls' 18 singles, Kinnard defeated Erica Eagle 6-0 6-0 in the semis and #2 seeded Maggie Austin 6-1 6-1 in the final.

In girls' 16 singles, Kinnard beat Caitlyn Pecinovsky 6-3 6-2 in the round of 16, Lauren Kaszak 6-1 6-3 in the quarters, #4 seed Ahn Thu Thai 6-3 6-0 in the semis and #2 Jessica Easdale 6-1 6-2 in the final.

For this performance, Kinnard was named the Junior Player of the Week.
